Nerris Nevarez-Nassiri is a filmmaker, screenwriter, and photographer whose work amplifies underrepresented voices. With a unique background and a passion for crafting coming-of-age musical stories, Nerris brings a fresh perspective to the world of independent cinema. Nerris’ work has placed in the Austin Film Festival, Nicholl Fellowship, and has won fellowships with The Black List, The Disruptors, Minorities in Film, and Theatre Now New York.
